About Us
Under the broad policy framework of extending technical education in the state, Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University(JNTU) Hyderabad, Telangana, India has promoted the establishment of several colleges in rural areas. Kamala Institute of Technology & Science(KITS) established at Singapur, Huzurabad emerged out of this vision to impart quality technical education that is very relevant to rural development. It was established in the year 1997 and managed by Kamala Education Society, an association with a generous vision of providing quality education for ardent seekers of knowledge.
The management of KITS are also part of two other technical institutions Kavikulaguru Institute of Technology & Science at Ramtek,Maharashtra and Kakatiya Institute of Technology & Science at Warangal. Since 1997, KITS has producing a substantial number of professional and competitive engineers by providing its pupils the needed amenities that help develop appropriate skills suitable for rapidly changing industrial needs. The kind of training imparted in these premises leaves them proficient and ready to withstand the cut-throat competition in their careers. Quality improvement is primary focus of KITS and the management has been striving in this direction. The institute has fortified itself in every possible direction and today can be valued along with the best institutions in the state.

Mechanical
Mechanical Engineering Department was started on 15th September 2003. The Department has well qualified and dedicated staff members with good teaching experience and technical supporting staff with vast practical knowledge.

The College has constructed a separate Indoor games complex. Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, GOI, New Delhi has sanctioned a grant of Rs. 20,00,000/- during 2001-2003.
